Sean Flanagan - Freelance Illustrator

Sean was born in 1972 and grew up in Bowie, Maryland. "I had many brothers and sisters who just seemed to excel in different areas of life", Sean remembers. "Whether it was academically, physically, socially or creatively -- I really admired their various talents. So, I knew early on that I had my work cut-out for me if I ever hoped to 'stand out' like they did". In time, Sean would discover his creative outlet in drawing. "I drew all the time", Sean recalls. "I drew birthday signs for my family, cards & gifts for friends at school and even holiday illustrations that my Mom STILL hangs around the house each season".

Today, Sean has turned his self-taught, childhood love for drawing into an extensive portfolio of professional work. Producing original illustrations for various companies, his work has also been published in newspapers, books, on posters, and apparel.
